Excellent picture in what looks like difficult lighting. It would have been easy to totally mess up the exposure. Great detail in the feathers and love it's breast colouring.

James, you are correct - lots of exposure compensation here, almost but not quite straight into the sun, about 2 hours before sunset. Thanks for the view & comment, Steve.
