Wonderful composition, great texture and colour in the foreground rock, and a nice soft background of the mountains to set them off - Excellent 7

Beautiful landscape! I love high mountains and rocks. I'm just curious: how did you get there?

Very good!
Regards, Daniel.

hi daniel.... huangshan is not an easy climb. it's only 1900 metres from top to bottom, but it is steep. i did it with a backpack full of winter clothing as the weather reports told me to expect temps of 0C-10C. it was more like 10C-20C..... :>) tiring climb but well worth it (my second trip to huangshan), despite the number of tourists up top.

Are you taking these from trails or is the road winding through these high places. Wonderful shots. Alison

Hi alison.... thanks for your comments as usual. to get up these mountains you need to hike up a lot of steps that have been carved into the mountain. they're quite steep and the climb, despite being only 1900 metres from top to bottom, is not easy. these photos were taken either from a trail, or from somewhere just off a trail.

take care alison ~ james

Wow James. Thanks for replying it.
Quite an adventure, wasn't it? Cool.
You know that this adds much to your photograph, right?

Congratulations!

The light, the colours, the composition make this a wonderful picture.
