About My first attempt at an assignment. It was a good exercise and I plan to do more. Any guesses on the subject here?

Wonderful abstract! The tones are great. I'm guessing they are rubber bands. Thanks for sharing. :)

I don't have a clue on what it is but I like it.

Splendido astratto, morbido, dai bellissimi toni e luci, e dalle suadenti prospettive curve.
Congrats!!
Ciao

Beauty of an abstract.

Great picture. Beautiful texture and tone. Your DOF works wonderfully here. The way the curves gradually blur the further you follow them back really gives you the sense of infinity.
Your eye just wants to keep tracking the curves all the way back.

Wonderful work.

very good abstract - - great use of depth of field and BW tones - my guess is leaves . K

And the winners are...Jim and Kevin. These are, I think, Amaryllis leaves. I turned the photo on it's side and it looked completely different and when I converted to B&W it became a piece of abstract art.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, that's right Jim. You and Kevin have won an all expense paid trip to the vacation destination of a lifetime! Galesville, WI. Where you will study, dine and drink beers with the talented Ms. McCluskey!

: ) Thanks so much for the great compliment!
