About Fishing around for older shots... never been so busy as I've been since loosing the old job!

Taken with Steve a few weeks back, this is another angle on the stranded plank on this wonderful wier. The light had begun to subside at this point, so the reflection you see at the back embankment could shine though.

Sure I'll have a few hundred new ones on Saturday when we hit Northants! 4 days and counting!

Excellent shot, Ade!
It's got it all!
Action in the waterfall and the still of the reflection above it!
I look forward to meeting you on Saturday?
Kind regards, Chris

Cheers Chris.

If the weather stays anything like this, we'll be on for a good one - fluffy clouds, bit of blue sky and all that.

I'm still not sure who's coming to this, there's Steve and I from Leeds, and Den of course, but other than that, it'll be a nice surprise!

best get some practice in this week!

See you saturday then

Ade

Excellent reflections in the background. Love the softness of the falls. Superb.

Man, where do you find these places? Wonderful shot! This water does not look real, so smooth. I want to thank you for your encouragement. I've added several of your shots as favorites. I aspire to develop my eye, with your work as the example. I always show my favorites to friends and relatives and say: "This is how I want to shoot pictures!"

Beautiful image, Ade, from the stranded wood, to the reflection of the opposite bank! Very good composition!

il senso di movimento dell'acqua è veramente notevole, complimenti,

Fantastic example of slow shutter speeds.

AJ Miller   {K:49168} 4/13/2005
This is excellent: a perfect reflection AND the movement of the water. And the stranded plank disrupts the water just to add some more interest.

Great work Ade, it really is a beautiful spot by the weir. I have been putting a portfolio together as you know and I have included one from this spot .... the one with the close up of the weir and the tea coloured water !

Two days and counting !!!

Best wishes,
Steve

Ade,

This one even better for the slow speed. Refreshing feel to it.

regards,
ken.
