I'm not completely sure what you did ... i have some thoughts ... but I love it, regardless of how it was done!!! (It looks like an infra red image.)

Nice negative image -- it's different and stylish.

todd, once again, your masterful use of dead space is captivating. i would've probably centered it more and cropped it in a panoramic frame. producing a totally different effect. this is much better.... you win! bonus for the negative/IR look. love the tonal gradiation as it gives the shot a very calming effect. my only nitpick is a technical one: the shot is very slightly tilted to the right. probably not enough for most to notice, i'm just hypersensitive to it. i even yell at the tv when they slip and tilt a shot ;^)

take care,
tom

damn! you're def. right about the tilt. i can get pretty annoyed by this too....don't know how it slipped by me. thanks for the helpful advice tom.

it's an admirable abstract landscape. I like the inversion, the perfect compo and the soft gradation of grey.

I'm grateful that someone as obviously "into" abstracts and intensely personal visual communications as you are can still find a kind word to say about my very conventional photo of the bridges at Yokohama. Must confess that although the above B&W seems a very pleasant image, I have no idea what it is or what the title means. Maybe it's like the title of rock songs--they mean what you want them to mean? The "About" would be where to put clues if you cared to give them...
