About The main train station of Zurich, hauptbahnhof, located at the center of city.
Opened in 1871, this superb building ranks amongst Europe's most beauiful railway stations. Many extensions have been added over the years to the original building, which now resembles an architectural puzzle of numerous interesting styles.

I am quite amazed of people passing by very leisurely inside the stations, with bike, with roller skates, and in one corner (you saw the white tents on the left side), it's a nice restaurants/bar seems to serve beers in lots of number (one person could ask 6 glass of beers).

I just sit on one of the benches made with marble and put my camera there as tripod, then I realized that you can see also the reflection there. so I it's a multipurpose tripod afterall :))

Great architectural shot Cessy... It looks like a fabulously beautiful building. You've caught the reflections really well - and I love the large open space in the ceter with people all around the outside... so different from UK railway stations with people everywhere all ina hurry! Super shot...

Subhash Sen   {K:11478} 4/19/2005

Omar Rifaat   {K:10135} 4/19/2005
Very nice reflection shot. The marble (?) floors are very luxurious for a train station (easy to clean, I guess!)
Actually I was in Zurich last week for work. So maybe I am one of those people!
