A good idea! Maybe a slower shutter speed, which would've allowed a little blur.

As it happens I've tried getting a little blur with unpredictable results... Using a slow shutter means the camera has to be held very still, and my camera has no remote operation except a timer which doesn't allow me to get the pendulum in a compositionally good position when shooting. What I've done here is to lodge it in position, but I'll review the other photos to see what the composition is like. Thanks for your comment.

Great picture, I really like your composition and choice of shooting angle. I think the warm brown tones and lighting compliment this shot well.
