Hi Mary,
Incredible landscape. Those colors usually don't last more than a very few minutes. The geese on the background add action to this wonderful scenario.

Wow intense sky. The geese and there formation add a different focus which is great. Your right the bush does look like it's telling them which way to go.

Thank you for your comment, Larry. I did look back at my photos. Actually, I do have one where the geese are much beter positioned in the lighter sky. I think I didn't choose it as I had moved over a bit and there were some hydro lines and poles in it.

This is so beautiful Mary. Lovely dramatic sky with rich colors. Very timely shot capturing the harmonic geometry of flying birds. Very thoughtful framing of the tree brances in the left lower frame to break the monotony of the image and adding a third dimention in the photo.
Exquisite capture indeed.

What a great collection of colors. You caught the geese just right giving them the white background so they stand out while surrounded by so much beautiful color. You really did a good job on this photo. Normally I do not frame open spaces but it works very well here. I think it would be beautiful hanging on a wall. I do like this photo very much. I have given up on keeping a list of "favorites" since I like so many postings, but if I did this one would certainly be there. Del.
