Very nice composition, James! I like the colours of the rock against the sky.

Magnificent vista and a splendid shot, James! I'd love to see a hi-res version of this!

Thanks for your kind comments on my work.

Kind regards, Chris

P.S. Interesting that this should be in Utah as I went along to an exhibition by a local photographer this afternoon and he takes a lot of photo's in Utah!! His name is Jon Lippett and you'll find him on the net at: http://www.jonlippett.co.uk/index1.htm Some of his salt lake shots were phenomenal. He uses both large and medium format, as well as X-pan, and blows them up real big! This shot reminded me of one of his!

Great composition! The angle is good. However, it lack saturation, did you add a polariser, i think it can give better colour to the sky and rocks. No offence but it will be perfect if the colour is rich!

Best regard Joe

Thank you very much for your comment Joe. I really appreciate your criticism. I got out of the habit of using a polarizer when I switched from Kodachrome to E100VS because the film was already saturated and the polarizer made most images look way over saturated. Now that I'm shooting digital, I miss the saturation of the E100VS, and tend not to use PS to bring back super saturation.
