Amongst birds, peacocks are the most royal. You can see some of that quality from this bird's posture. It even wears a crown! ;-)
In devotional paintings, peacocks are often shown amongst the deities, and it's not difficult to see why.

It's not allowed to pump saturation to 200% when photographing peacocks!

Hi Paul, nice to hear from you again. ;-)
Peacocks are very colourful by nature, so I just enhanced the pic to bring out the light and colours more. It almost looks like a painting now, and that's precisely the effect I wanted to achieve.
