About Taken March 1972. An upside down reflection of a boy clowning around in front of the Toronto City Hall. He is pretending to figure skate in 3 inches of water, where the ice rink had melted. Scanned from the original slide.

Another great in the series Andre, but the first one is my favorite!

Fadel,
I think you are right. The proportions of the boy to the building is not as good in this one and the colour may be a little too high contrast.

hi andre,

from a technical view, this image suffers a bit from some strange artifacts. but hey, it's not always the technique that makes the image. I really love that colors, the silhouette composing and the dynamics presented here. very cool abstract stuff!

best wishes and thanks for your constant support,

thilo

Hi Thilo,
I tend to agree with you and Fadel on this one. The strange artifacts you mention might possible be because of the whole photo being a reflection, and the water wasn't completely clear. Over-all, I think I prefer the one with the smaller image of the boy.

You certainly know that he looks like he has jumped. This is so cool! It is artistic. I love the color and composition, and surprise element. Antonia

Hi Toni,
To be honest, I had, in all these years never seen the boy as a falling figure. Now that I look at it from that pov I can see that as a possiblility. Percetion is a funny thing.

Wow! That's all I can see -- he jumped off the building...does that say something about my frame of mind? hahahahaha Antonia

No, you are still laughing
