About Recognising that the bright sunlight would drain colour images of their power, I decided to take a couple of rolls of Ilford SFX infra-red film with me to Crete. I'm quite pleased with the results as I wasn't sure whether I was focusing at the right point or whether I'd got the correct exposure! I used a Cokin Z-Pro IR filter.

I like the way the detail in the wood washes together with the detail of the mountains, almost eliminating tghe illusion of depth of field.
