About Subject background: Shot against the light, you see some human silhouettes walking on nature's ground... nothing more and less. maybe we all are just silhouettes sometimes, somehow ;-)

PS concept: intensified the contrast with channel mixer actions.

Honest feedback highly appreciated

Hi thilo! deep thought in the about :)
I really like this image 7/7
But it needed something!
Umm...ok heres what im thinking
Don?t panic lol Sometime I lose my nerves when people edit my images
rotating the image, cropping out the right part, so that it would look as if they are working on a rise?
What do you think?

This is a wonderful image. I like its dramatic effect done in understated terms.

Cheers,
--George
(I admire Arwa's effort--and his style. Still, I'll stay with the original.) ;~)

Hi Thilo,

Very simple, yet effective. The silhouettes of people and land are joined together.

Looks a bit dark on my monitor ;-P (joke)

I think I prefer the none slanted version to this one too.

One is wondering what those silhouettes are doing. Interesting stuff; excellent lighting ...

Hi Arwa,

first of all: Thanks for warping some creative energy from your side to me ;-)

to be honest, the rotation is too heavy for me. but you're right that the image is lacking some tension.

best wishes,

thilo

Hi Verena,

sehr schöner kommentar - und sehr offen!

danke dafür,

thilo

Lacking tension is not necessarily a bad thing!

Maybe that?s the thing about this image...we think that we can edit it, but no matter what we do its just not better than the original ;)

Suzie Hansen   {K:991} 4/28/2005
I like it very much because it's dramatic and panoramic. The lighting off center in the photograph yet above the highest point of the ground was skillfully done.
