I am intrigued by the footprints in the foreground...I think they are worthy of focus. So maybe the cropping could be more oriented towards bringing them out (i.e. less sky and negative space) IMHO. I like your choice of b&w tones, though I think maybe the curves could be adjusted. Nice job overall.
