I love her expression ! Is that a smile behind the pacifier ?

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/24/2005
yes she is smiling, although she is trying to to show :)

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/24/2005
make that "...she is trying not to show"

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49417} 4/24/2005
David! i realy interest on the hearty feeling your shot share. the sepia tone with this old mood creates a very nice & delicate crop. bravo/ i appreacite your look on my shots.

Love the BW film, David...really a cute shot! I really loving your tones lately, not too pink, almost golden...do share...

Antonia BauerleinSehnert   {K:30194} 4/24/2005
Sweet capture. I like the way the tones work in sepia. Excellent framing. What beautiful eyes. Antonia

thanks a lot Kiarang, I'm very much a digital fan, but the look of film is still unique.

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks Gustavo!

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks very much Dina, yes I thought it was time to go back to the roots for a change. I have this box full of unprocessed B&W film and yesterday night I took the time and developed a hand full.

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks Jeanette, I'm glad you like it.

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
Thanks Jan, I'm still experimenting with the color/saturation values. I was hoping I would find "my" colors, but I think every photo needs a slightly different adjustment. And then I usually change my mind about it once I have uploaded it and again after a couple of weeks. :)

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks a lot Antonia. Her eyes in reality are razor sharp drills that go right into dady's heart :) I'm totally powerless lol

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks Kelly, I'm going back to film every once in a while. The look is just different. The weakest link is my scanner. There is much more in the negative.

I still have 20 rolls of film waiting to be processed. :-/

thanks "k" :)

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks Terry, I keep trying and my kids are very inspiring. Although it is time to find some new models also.

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/25/2005
thanks Parvin, it is often those little moments that get burnt into my memory.

Saeed Al Shamsi   {K:47727} 4/26/2005
So sweet, her curiosity not hiding completely, excellent child naturally shot. Saeed

James Philip Pegg   {K:10138} 4/27/2005
I really enjoyed looking your portfolio, some fantastic photographs! All my best, James

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 4/27/2005
thanks very much James. your portfolio is really impressive. I will have to go through it more when I have more time.

Amanda Radovic   {K:3594} 5/31/2005
Very sweet, nice capture - the noise and artefacts bother me a little but the image is so sweet nevertheless.
