About la sauge is a bird place by the lake of Neuchatel.
We went there last saturday, hopping to see beautiful birds, especially 'martin' the fisher bird. Unfortunately the weather was not very supporting, rainy and cloudy, that birds not showing up although we could hear them chirping.
lovely place though.
We saw this view from the bird view place, with small holes to see the birds.
I took this with infrared filter Cokin P007,
I hope you like it.

Looks like a water color painting!
The stiff pattern of the trees is soften by the wood pieces which are forming a diagonal line leading the back to the trees to notice their beautiful colors as the result of the IR filter

This is a very picturesque imaqe Karina and I think you've captured the reflections and colours well. However, it is marred by the metal bits protruding from the lake and the fact that the horizon doesn't appear to be level. I'd straighten the horizon, crop the left edge slightly and clone out the metal bits.

I find it a bit tilted even if it could also be straight one; nice the colors and reflections though

Mesut Yilal   {K:3315} 4/25/2005
WOW. really beatiful colors and composition....

cessy karina   {K:14205} 4/25/2005
thank you Antonio, actually I had corrected the tilted angle, with reference the vertical lines of the trees and the metal on the left side.
but maybe it still slightly tilted ?
thanks,
cessy

Raf D   {K:9283} 4/26/2005
Cessy, this is a beautiful composition, the IR gives is a great character. The tree symmetry was well captured and the reflections on the water are great. DOF is nicely measured here. Well done! -- Kind regards, Rafael

PS. I think your horizon it's a bit tilted

The tone, the dark sky and the reflection has enhanced the composition and gave it a painting like or Naïf art, superb selective subject and shot. Saeed

Stephen Bowden   {K:64540} 4/30/2005
