another beauty mitchell....
just a quick question... i often use the same filters as you... not always, just some times... do you find not a great deal of people like them?... i absolutly adore them... but when ido use them, i will always get one or two people that really don't like them, some say they ruin a photo and make it look too much like a painting...!... me personally, i couldn't care less if it's a painting or a photo, if it gives me the wow factor, then i love it....
just something i was curious about, don't get me wrong... i am not complaining that others don't like them, each to their own... but you are the only other one on here that i know uses these textures and just wanted to know if you got the same comments as me...?...
love your work too... keep it up....
cheers
kel

Kelly,

judging by the amount of comments you receive and all the awards you've won, i'd say what your doing is tremendous!!

I don't know how you do it, but I enjoy it and that's enough for me.

I just took a quick browse through your portfolio and was seriously impressed. I must spend some more time there. Your pictures are like paintings - I really like your style.

Very strange Mitchell.
odd, intriguing distortions in perspective from that shadowy factory, lovely forground and sky sort of story book look for some reason and that's odd for this subject matter. touch of the wildwest there too, being monstered. shot in my imagination from the perspective of some furture resistance fighter celebrated in a story book for children

Mystical Light, a narrative story with many meanings. It seems a bit grainy or soft-I'm guessing compression maybe?

ictenbey / Emrah ICTEN   {K:16235} 4/27/2005
perfect...

Hakan AKIRMAK   {K:16337} 4/28/2005
Perfect!

The light in the smoke and the way it crosses the "canvas" is fantastic. I love the depth of tone, shadow and brilliant contrasting light. A favorite.

Your fan,
Antonia
