Nice idea Josh,
perhaps a fill in flash is helpful in situations like this, because the sky looks a bit over exposed.
Anyway, a tasteful shot.

Good to see you're back..!

I wouldn'y use a fill in flash but I would try and improve the contrast in the sky a little. Good luck and thanks for the comments.

Hmmm... nice composition but the sky is definitely too light... I've taken the liberty of tweaking it in PS - To accomplish the end result I first selected all of the sky areas and then feathered the selection 30 pixels. I then adjusted levels on the sky and lightness (part of hue/saturation) to get the desired result. The sky is still too bright on parts of the clouds but I feel the overall image has more impact. Hope you don't mind....
