Capture: Canon EOS-1D Mk II, Sigma AF 120-300 f2.8 APO EX IF HSM with Canon EF 1.4x II (at 420mm), 1/45, f22, ISO 200 (The teleconverter was ?permanently attached? to the body to keep dust out when changing between the 120-300 and 500.)

What an incredible location and opportunity. This is a superb long range, high movement shot, and the effect of panning worked well to capture the speed of this Wildebeest.

Brilliant panning, and the action has been captured very well! I also like the sharpness towards the animal's face, and the gradual blur!

i think you intended to make a low shutter speed to show it like that, good idea, but the body is not very clear because of that
