About Another try at learning new PS framing techniques. I thought that with the dark greens and black that the dulled yellow/orange of the flower would make a good contrast - without doing any brightening. This was taken in the shade.

Interesting - looks like a glass cover is on them. Or a magnifying glass... keep playing - it's addictive. :)

Jan Graziano   {K:17395} 5/7/2005
Thanks Cheryl - It is addictive - but such a fun way to learn doing this rather than having to use PS to put together something work-related. Do like the way you put the glow around the little girl in your Easter picture series. Something from PS?

Cheryl Ogle   {K:24494} 5/7/2005
Yes, its an action set I found. Love the actions - they really make a whole new photo for me and I don't have to work out the recipe. :) I run and adjust as needed. Very fun.

Janice,

Excellent work. The yellow flower simply jumps up and grabs you !!!

I would like to know how you did the framing for this one.

regards,
ken.

Ken, if you would send me your e-mail I will try and document the "how-to" instructions for this framing technique. Glad you like. Jan

Neat. It sort of looks like it's encased in a glass bubble. I like the effect.

It does, doesn't it Mary - for whatever reason it finished with a dome-effect. Kind neat. Jan

Boy give you an inch....Jan this is by far the best, the placement of the frame and flowers works very well. Into my favs.
PS I'm proud of your quick progress.

Jan Graziano   {K:17395} 5/8/2005
Ellen - believe I did an inner glow on this one - and came out just right so that it did appear curved as if a glass dome. BUT - I have had some great lessons from a very generous and willing teacher. Thanks, kiddo. Jan

PS - Happy Mothers' Day

Thanks Opal - I have been learning a little bit about PS and having a lot of fun playing around. Jan
