Thanks, Vladimir. You might be right. I lost a bit of the railing, but wasn't sure if I should lose it all, for some additional lines, or not. Still looking at both. Decisions, decisions.

I think the simplicity and the quality of the exposure here would make this a good entry for the current project.

This one gives me mixed emotions. On the one hand, everything looks so peaceful. Fresh snow always makes the (usually) ugly landscape so clean and inviting. On the other hand, it makes me think, "I'll really need to boogie if I'm to get to work on time after shoveling the driveway.

I'd rather think of the peacefulness. ;-)

nailed the exposure on this tricky scene. contemplated chomping the top off as suggested, but I have come to the conclusion, it stays. A good one to print yourself and hang on the wall!

Stephen! I like the sweet and strong shadows has anoter time in more beautiful composition.

I really like the depth in this pic. I can't see the old comments, but it sounds like someone suggested cutting off some of the top. I think the top should stay as is. I like the curve of the railing behind. It adds some interest and maybe even makes the scene seem less cold and more artistic. Well exposed, creatively envisioned...
