About I've seen a lot of really great tulip photographs on this site lately and this is my attempt. This is a departure from my usual style, but I've seen some similar images on UF and I really liked them so I figured I'd attempt it.

Cropped and film grain added in PSP.

It has a great "Film Noir" feel to it with the added grain and the sadness flows through the image almost as smoothly as the curve in the stem. A great image indeed.

Thanks

I like it, it may be sad, but there is sope in it too. The tones are very good, there is a lightness around the tulips that gives that spirit of hopefullness. Excellent

Bravo for you!!! I love this stretch across shot. Really makes you feel the flower power. Well done Laurie.

The grainy texture lends a softness to the image and the graceful downward bend of the stem is a poetic expression that anyone can identify with. Simple and clean -- Lovely!
