Who ever knew a corkscrew could look so good...These are very inspiring. I like it very much, the diagonal composition is perfect allowing room for it to go on and on...again a very classic look..Wonderfully presented Laurie...How do you like that camera Laurie? ....:) Linda

Thanks Linda! I too am surprised when common household objects turn out looking so good!

I love my digital rebel! I can't say enough good about it. Are you thinking about a new camera? I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. You can email me at lag02697@yahoo.com :)

This is our first, but hopefully not last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Ms. Gould. I read your bio and learned that you study for a PhD, teach part time in a college and live in the US. I also looked through your entire portfolio. The latter was easy, because there was only one page and difficult because your photos were good, revealing a great sense for beauty, the use of light, a sense of humor ("Love is in the air") and included a BIP. I found it hard select one photo to comment on and finally decided on this one, because it was relatively simple and simplicity, I've been told more than once, is one of the sectrets of beauty in art. I suspect another one to be precision. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay futher visits to my portfolio. If you read my bio, I'll find out that I am a psychoanlalyst and if you are intersted in psychoanalysis, you are invited to visit
www.drspringmann.com
On that site the important parts to pay attention to are Dr. Joyce Mc Dougall's preface (She is a leading figure in the psychoanalytic comunity) and the story of Adam, the first schizophrenic patient described in a book I wrote, called "Dialogues with Schizophrenia - the Art of Psychotherapy." Despite its name the book was written with the interested non mental-health professional also in mind. In case you would like to have it, all you have to do do is write an e mail to
rafael1930@bezeqint.net
With "Usefilm and your book" in the subject line and I will gladly send you the book (1.02 MB) free of any cost to you.
In the meantime, I thank you for your very kind words about my "In Monet's garden 5."
Best regards,
Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann
