Del, it is mainly a fishing lake--lake trout, smallmouth bass. In the last few years, pickerel has been the main catch. (My largest is an 11.5 pound lake trout!)

Mary, keep in mind the usefulness of the panorama format when you have scenes that extend a long way sideways without much going on vertically! I think this could have made a lovely one. At the moment, that heavy mass of dark foliage on the left is a little overpowering as a "frame" for the low-lying hills, and tends to unbalance the picture. Nice cool grey-blues, though.

Great image Mary. The angled lines reinforce one anothe beautifully; the piece of driftwood mimics the line of the shore almost exactly as do the rocks in the left foreground. The composition is superb - particularly the way you've included the point of land coming back into the frame on the left side as it gives the eye a natural resting point. Well done!
