Great shot Carsten! I love the vertical paranoma shot! The lonely hut is very attractive and the perspective shot is very good. Overall I give a thumb up! 7+++

This is a beautiful and foreboding image. The sun piercing the clouds in the center is perfectly captured and placed. Love it. Can you tell how you create digital IR? Thanks. Andree

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 5/15/2005
andree, thanks for stopping by. Digital IR is of course not as powerful as real IR (best with digicams like sony 707, no IR filter over the sensor). With PS, you can try Channel mixer or - more comfortable - PS actions like Dave Jaseck`s PS actions from DPR or DI_version_1.2 (UF does not allow for URL`s in comments, so you should locate the link with help of Google, for example). Or I could send you a mail.

Thanks Carsten. I found a number of links about Dave Jaseck and will be cruising for information. Regards, Andree

I love the look of the dandelions and the silvery field where they are located, Carsten. Good work there.

However, I do feel the image is a bit overly dark, making it a bit difficult to look at. In particular, I was looking for more separation between the barn and the dark sky.

Guido Fulgenzi   {K:6076} 6/5/2005
powerful and dramatic BW!congrats.
regards,Guido

Peter Bowers   {K:181} 6/7/2005
