About I bet there were lots of fun times in this car. Now it's just resting in the shade.

Great shot, makes me wonder what this cars life was like. Beautifully taken in it's woodsy grave. Alison

Decaying images always seem to have an underlying story to them......makes for a good interesting photograph

Wonderful colours, and textures. How did you ever find this.

I have discovered there is no such thing as junk. Now it is all an opportunity for a great photo.
I also love the digital world. I can take 200 picture and at least get 20 or so I like at no cost - except the camera and my time.

Richard - This car is actually sitting in a wooded front yard - not mine - with some other old cars. They are relatively close to the road. Thanks for your comment.

Brandy - I couldn't agree more. It seems that the more "used" the item is the more interesting the photo. I also love digital photography, since as you stated you can take lots of shots and pick out your favorites. Thanks for your comments.

Oh I don't know - rub down the rust, lick of paint, perhaps a couple of new tyres... Or maybe it should just be left to rot in peace. Great shot.

Well spotted, Debbie. And nicely photographed considdering the contrasts in the light.

Hi Debby,

It's an old junker, resting in the shade. But I prefer to look to the future when someone takes the time to bring it back to life with a full restoration.
Millions of these old heaps are all over the world just sitting and waiting to get back on the road again :)

Andre
