About I am a proud new owner of a Nikon D70s!
This is one of my first photos with the Nikon. I love this website; it is truly the best! I'm glad I can be part of it now. Enjoy my photograph of an old weathered fence.

Welcome to the "D70 Nation" (with apologies to Honda) and enjoy. I think you will be very happy with your choice.
This image shows you already have a good understanding of the capabilities of the D70. Perhaps you read the manual? Great colours and textures, nice use of DOF. Congrats.

Thank you for your wonderful compliments Richard Dakin! Yes! I have read the manual, but still learning. I noticed the wide range of ablitites the camera is capable of doing, as compared to my old point and shoot camera.

Thanks

Jay Sikstrom
