Many thanks for stopping by and your comments, Thomas. The VR does work with the D70, I took some shots in the OFF position and I can see the difference. But, I am still very new with the D70, this was my first time really going out with it and trying all my lenses... I hope this helps a bit -- Regards, Rafael

Thanks Cheryl, I am glad you noticed the specks of grass. I find it amazing that it takes so little for life to show!!! My favorite quote: "Life just wants to be" It never rang so true as this time in the desert :) I think I will go back to the desert and get a few more shots. -- R.

Ohhhh - you know, I love dune shots and love that I get to see so many on this site - BUT this one is VERY unique. I love the little shot of grass off to the left which shows a "sign of life" in a desert scene. It's like a mirage. Then you have the play of shadows on here battling the light. So wonderful this shot is!
