This is really nice Mary, and you have some good PS skills as well. That water is so clear..I love this image...the colors are wonderful, I like the play of light and shadow, the patterns and shapes in the sand, and the reflections are nice...it's very enjoyable to look at, pleasant and wonderfully presented as well....I like to take pictures of the bottom of the ocean when the tide is low, I have some, that I haven't posted, maybe someday, but I love what you did here...beautiful image....:):) Linda

Now that we've met on these pages, I would like to suggest that we switch to first nams. I, as you already know, am Rafi and unless you object I'll refer to you henceforth as Mary.
You managed to produce a charming abstract in this photo, well composed and with glorious golden sun-shine reflections.
Thank you for your kind remards about my "Figure 5" and my "In Monet's garden 3."
As to the latter, in the absence of a ring-flash, and I did not have one at the time I took that photo, I believe its position to be the best to capture the translucet beauty of a flower.

Wow! That IS really cool. I love the way the colours run in a diagonal pattern of gold, separated by the almost purple tinged bands of light. It gives a balanced feel to the composition. Now if you had PAINTED this image, it would be hanging in our gallery in Ottawa with a price tag of over $one million!!!!!! + GST and PST of course. Congrats Mary.

Wow, fabulous play of light and color in the water - you have a photographic eye ! I hope you dont mind I played with PS a bit: make a Background Layer copy (right click, duplicate layer) and then try different blending modes and layer opacities. At last, "Layer > Flatten image".
To my taste, "Color burn" with about 50% opacity is nice, but thats a matter of taste. I wanted to emphasize the beautiful color contrats a bit more.
