About Subject background: I'm breaking my rule for 1 picture a day because I'm heading for holidays soon. So I decided to upload one of my first real pano experiments. Three pictures stitched manually, shots are handheld. I will upload the Disney version as well ;-)

PS concept: Probably too much cover. Lots of work with channel mixer and adjustment layers.

Honest feedback highly appreciated

Hi Jeanette,

ah, you're the green/yellow addict? =)

I thought that another Disney one would probably be too much for my weird friends.

Fabulous is all I can say about this image Thilo! and even the disney one which you don't seem to be excited about, I think it really deserves an upload on its own, both superly done!

Both the heavily processed version and the Disney version are excellent. I prefer the processed one which has some very interesting colors and tones. I really love how the clouds stand out in this one. Well done!

Hi Thilo,
They both stand alone very nicely! Two completely different moods. I like both, but think I prefer the one you posted, very melancholy and relaxed I guess is the word I'm looking for. :) It is a beautiful image!
Happy Friday!
Ann

Hi Thilo ,superb pano shot my friend, excellent stitching, the clouds formation are amazing
great work
Many thanks for comenting "Mistery" yes I am aware
of some blurring in the water because of the slow shutter
My best regards

Angelo Villaschi   {K:49617} 5/21/2005
Well, as usual with you it's high quality work. Hard to see the stitches at all, and I would not even had started digging for them if you didn't mention it.

Very dramatic sky and colours. This holds the photo together, in the absence of any other point of interest. It's purely about the view, the bands of colour.

Nice stuff. Hope to see loads of hol' pics soon.

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 5/24/2005
Well, I like both versions but I must confess I am still infected with the "postcarditis virus", so my heart beats a bit more for the Disney. Not only for its colorful appearance, but the yellow layer stands out nicely against the green. However, the more pano formatted crop of your decent coloured version is better, so I would like to see the Technicolor cropped a bit at the bottom.
BTW, good stitching job, no seams visible (sometimes stitching by hand is better than PanoTools etc).
Regards;
Carsten

Great work here Thilo... Love the composition and great stiching... Love the sky, it seems at some point menacing, but the greens and the view soften it to create a great harmony...

Cheers,

MaLuisa
