About I decided to reprocess one of the photos I had taken during my self-portrait series. I had converted all those to black and white and decided to keep this on in color and try some different filters. Thank you for looking.

You look like Maria de Medeiros, a portuguese actress who acts in Pulp Fiction and Henry & June.
So nice picure and model.
Thanks to share your talent with us.

Gaja,

Very dramatic, indeed. I may play with the B&W thing though! Also the shadow cast by your nose is almost a perfect ?Rembrandt?s Triangle?.

You might check out some teaching tapes by Dean Collins, as he was a genius with lighting techniques. Dean passed on this year after a 2 year battle with cancer, which is a loss to all of us.

I only knew Dean by his tapes, but when I heard of his death I cried for the loss of this man? Most people say that ?those who can do and those who can?t teach, but Dean Collins could do both?? Dean conducted lectures at the ?Brooks Institute? for young people such as yourself?

My Best,

Jr. Martin

Hi Jr. Martin,
thanks for the info about Rembrandt's triangle; that's definitely not something that was on my mind when taking this shot, but maybe it will be in future ones!
