About just coming back from bali, for a meeting. lucky got a day before and after, so I could travel around :D.
these are the saltfarmers, they make salt in traditional way, taken early in the morning when they picked up the sea water. they earn not more than 5 euro per day

A beautiful enough foreground interest to ensure the subject feel full. The atmosphere enhances the whole composition. Superb work. Saeed

STUNNING IMAGE!!!!!! I like your "about", it does not cease to amaze me just how there are still people in this world working so hard for almost nothing. It sure puts the lfe in perspective. Additionaly, it adds so much feeling to your composition. Hope you don't mind but it went straight into my favorites! Well done Cessy! -- Kind regards, Rafael

I always think of Bali as a paradise, but clearly life can be rough there too. This is such a beautiful moody shot. Lots of feeling in this. Excellent.

A meeting!!!!!
In bali!!! :O
Oh boy you must really really LOVE your work!!!!
Its fantastic moody image!
wonderful mist and the black and white toning make the salt farmers more clear, but a black and white image of the bali beach?
It?s a twist very unusual but why?

Excellent photograph Cessy, wow that must be hard work walking backup the sand carrying that water. I find it hard enough walking back just once with my fishing tackle lol

Best wishes,
Steve

Great shot Cessy! Lucky indeed! I wish I could go there.
You can really feel the 'uphill' struggle they face everyday..

How steep is that beach???!!! Such an amazing contrast too... you going to Bali for a meeting costing more in flights and accomodation than those farmers earn in a couple of years. Just highlights the differences in the 'civilised' world and the third world doesn't it!Excellent shot (and the B&W really works in my opinion!)
