About I really need to get out and take a few shots.... this is from ages ago when Steve and I went over to Ilkley and Bolton Abbey for a drive.

These are steping stones over the River Wharf in Ilkley and I bet I've already posted this - maybe on Ephotozine actually???

I just love the way the shadows reveal the stones below the water

Good capture, I agree, the effect of the shadows and stones is great.

Well I've not seen it before... I love the way you can see the stones on the bottom clearly in the shadows and not elsewhere.

Stunning shot Ade! I love the reflections, the transparency and the soft movement of the water. Superb use of the NDs and Polariser here mate!!!

ade mcfade   {K:12388} 5/25/2005
There's no fooling you Alastair - though you may note that I turned the polariser and kept the reflection where needed! Makes a change :-)

Cheers

Ade

Superb quality image, Ade!
The reflections really bring the shot to life.
Best regards, Chris

Cheers Margaret, the top half has one of those grad filters on, so it's gone a kind of darker blue than the redder foreground. Quite liked that effect, wasn't really expecting it either :-)

That's half the fun!

Ok one more comment. This is my favorite of your lot. It is just excellent work.
