eheeh Roby, al liceo avevo un professore di disegno che era "fissato" con il Gotico (ci faceva disegnare le piante di quasi tutte le chiese gotiche a mano libera) e un po' della sua passione e' riuscito a infonderla anche a me. Figurati che conoscevo a memoria le piante di NotreDame de Paris, Chartres, del coro della chiesa di Saint Denis (il primo esempio di gotico del mitico Abate Suger...) e di molte altre.
Per non parlare di affinita' e differenze tra le varie intepretazioni che del gotico ci sono state nelle varie nazioni ... ma non divaghiamo troppo

I love this one! The long range of focus is really nice so that all the statues are clearly seen and they seem to be reaching up to the heavens. The sky seems full of life too.

Adoro il gotico e queste inquadrature a testa in sù! Questa toglie il fiato! Anche se sono d'accordo con Angelo che taglia la base...senza sembra volare verso il cielo...e forse lo proverei anche in toni molto forti e contrastati di b&n.
Da quando sono qui a Milano (troppi mesi ormai!), ancora non sono riuscita a fare anche solo una foto decente al Duomo, anche perchè è tutto "imbracato" e la zona circostante sempre troppo caotica per fermarmi ad ammirarlo. Ora avrò la tua immagine in mente a lungo.
Grazie per il tempo dedicato ai miei ultimi lavori...ultimamente ho sempre meno tempo per stare qui in UF, ma ci provo!

A very cool photo here, I love the way the lines angle upward to create a great sense of depth, and the cloud above almost looks like lightning striking the top. The cloud shadows on the front give it a nice tone, too. Very dynamic, I like it a lot!
