Deb, it is fabulous. The flower coming outside the frame is just grand.
Would it have been possible to have the complete leaves of those side and bottom ones? IMHO I think that would enhance this beauty picture.

Lovely composition and treatment. There's nothing wrong with something being "just pretty" you know. :) Especially with that kind of detail and color.

Thanks Mary! Your opinion means a lot to me, actually. Unfortunately, in this case I would have to PS the rest of the leaves or bring in carefully selected new ones because of the tight cropping when I took the photo. Not impossible, but . . . .

Hi Janice -- you asked how I accomplished this image and I have to admit to lots of PS majic. Begin by separating the image (rose) from the background and then create layers in between. Its fun. Thanks for commenting.
