Thanks Lori.
It was the Kites International Event (2 days) here in Ostend, Belgium .. held each year.. we get participants with their kites from all over Western Europe.. and i won't miss it for all the money in the world, it's the most vibrant display of forms, lines, colours... just adore it. This year we had superb weather on sunday, as you can see in the shots.

I don't blame you, I wouldn't miss something as colorful as that either. I've been wanting to go to a hot air baloon event, maybe next year. Lots of great colors there also!!
