This are my favorite, taken with this low angle so we can see the ear (ax in swedish :)). I have a desire to run there in the field and just feel the freedom. Beautiful shot Gaja!

Pace e salute, M.

I prefer this one very much, because of the great foreground detail.

I only wish the DOF could have been used to make the foreground grass and other details also be in full focus.

Beautiful tones for B&W.

I have tried something similar yesterday, but had little success and drama. This has both, success and drama. ;) Regards.

Nice composition Gaja but I think I'd like to see this in color, your camera has such nice color.

beautiful shot. might consider cropping just a tad off the bottom?

Roger Williams   {K:84100} 6/18/2005
Well, first of all congratulations on resisting the temptation to over sharpen. The slight fuzziness of the closest ears must have made you want to. I don't know whether your camera would have allowed you to use a smaller aperture and a higher shutter speed, which could have given you all the depth of focus you needed. These's a nice long range of tones, too. Perhaps the more distant trees and clouds might have been lightened a tad? I only say that because the brightest parts of the clouds still seem slightly off-white. The foreground grasses are quite perfect, though. B&W is fun, isn't it!

What a wonderfull shot... and what a great camera you have... second to none digicam for real photographers.

I just love the way you post -processed this image to obtain such an exquise result.
