Lovely dramatic image Jody,just one little niggle,perhaps a stonger image would result with the forground cropped to the bend of the bank,the plain forground does not hold the eye for me,that is just a feeling I have so not to say I am right of coarse:) it is good either way.

i saw few pictures of u and they are untitled. sometimes nature says louder than us, u must have heard Mr Bob Dylan says in one of his song "sometimes silence can be like thunder", so i feel u played ur part good and let the nature be slient and without words
good picture but a little more light on the river could have add the flavor little more salty
