Nooo! Incredible! I have made the same photo the day 26 May to hours 17:30 pm. I was to Lazise for the weekend! probably if you were present in those days there are also intercrosses without to know it to you! You will see my photo when I will put it on UF! Garda lake is always fascinating, it'g good to see how you "saw" it :-)

Lovely picture Jeanette, I like the imaginary symmetry created by the spark on the water, the man's head, the lighter area of the clouds and the lamp (if you think I'm nuts, I blame it on my monitor, I may need to replace it. The other option is that I might be crazy indeed.)

Larissa, it was not my intention to compare the lamp and the man like that, but the previous shot was my first choice because of the low angle and the "triangle between" sewer grate, the man and the lamp pole with the lake/sky behind. But this is the other version...couldn't resist to show it!!!

This one is also very nice, Jeanette! I think I like the other one a bit better because of the lower vantage point from which you took it. In this one I like how the drain cover is between the lamp and the man, making a nice triangle, but it's not as 'significant' an element in this version...

The lamp is very beautiful. Just the lamp isolated against the lake would have made a wonderful graphic image.
In this instance, I don't think the man's presence adds much to the photo. It may have something to do with his static pose. Maybe a more dynamic movement (walking, or even sitting, just staring at the lake, or reading, leaning against the lamp post) would have been more interesting.
