Beautiful intense colors. I like little touches like that metal roof off to the side. Such a dramatic scene. I had to look up "vailing" in the dictionary. You Canadians are clearly better educated :)

This is stunning, Christine! The intensity of the colors is amazing, and the overall softness makes it look as though the whole thing is made of cotton and felt - like a model railroad set! But you couldn't get lighting like that on a model, with the dappling across the hills... The little barn adds a nice little punch, too. Definitely dreamlike, but in a surrealist kind of way! (Is this, by chance, a blending of two images? or did you process land and sky seperately for the effect? Just curious - it's a great result!)

No, this particular one was not originally IR, Fadel, but I did attempt to apply some techniques in Corel to see if I could achieve the same deep, dramatic skies that you create.

I did separate sky and land Dirck and process them separately as the sky needed noise removed and the land needed a bit of sharpening just for detail but I wanted to keep the smoothness of the fields.
