About Water is the most common substance on Earth. No one can do without water. So, there can be no life. It is undoubtedly the most precious natural resource that exists on our planet. Without the seemingly invaluable compound comprised of Hydrogen and Oxygen, life on Earth would be not-existent.

It?s strange to see how still there are people who pollute the water we drink, for example when considering the River Nile, some people throw everything into it as if it is their little basket. Instead of keeping it clean and pure, they pollute it. Some farmers wash themselves, their clothes, their animals and their pots and pans in its water.

We should confess that mankind is the loser. WHY? Because we lose our water. We polluted our sources of water by our hands. We polluted our seas and rivers that are considered a great fortune to us... Let us all fight the problem of water pollution.

Camera settings: 1/80 sec - f/5.6 - ISO 200 - FL 200mm.

Omar Rifaat   {K:10135} 6/4/2005
Khaled bey,
a lovely shot, with the two cows tied together? the confining rope is almost a metaphor for the problem of water pollution.
it is a strange thing that egyptians today have such little respect for the Nile and other natural resources, especially when one considers the semi-sacred attitudes towards this life-giving river that their ancestors have held since the dawn of time. how can one forget so quickly? but then forgetfulness is the curse of mankind..
omar

Amazing capture Khaled and wonderful about, About the capture, well more than nice, I like the cropping as well,
About your words, I don't know if I can blame them, or blame the system, they could've provided some water infra structure, saying .. don't do that, here is the alternatives,
Those people are living like this from thousands of years, can't change their habits which they see it is the normal way of living without kind of education .. and alternatives,
My hat up my friend, Regards,

Kessia & Morgan UVA   {K:7265} 6/5/2005

Khaled Mursi Hammoud   {K:53382} 6/5/2005
Hi Ameed,
I agree with you totally my friend for that the governorate didn't provide any water infrastructures or alternatives for supplying water to wash their animals and their goods... you know we're the loosers :0(
Thanx for your nice words my friend,
Khaled.

Larry Hammond   {K:16631} 6/6/2005
Yes Khaled, water pollution is terrible, I think some see there is so very much in an area, are uncaring of others (an understatement) and pollute, what we all need for life, yes!!

Larry
