Beautiful tones Andre! I'm not sure about the flowers in the background, I guess they would fit more in the color version.

Hi Andre,

I mean, that's a camera =)

toning came out quite nice.

Hi Fadel,
I was trying to present something kind of timeless in the background. Maybe some kind of leafy plant would have been better so that the flowers don't steal the show from the camera?
I will post the colour version tonight. I'm thinking I might desaturate it a bit so the flowers are not so powerfull. A different DOF might have been better too. That might have helped keep the focus on the camera and less on the flowers.

Hi Thilo,
Maybe this is the type of toning that I should have tried on the wall photo. (brighter and crisper) There are a couple of kind of washed out areas (bottom left and the flower by the strap) but, still the central focus is there. As I suggested to Fadel, this may have been a little better if I had the DOF adjusted to unfocus the flowers and pot.

I've got very nearly the same camera, Andre, though I bought it at an antique store. My dad's Leica disappeared after he died, unfortunately.

Grant,
I just recently looked up the value of this Kodak Pocket camera. It cost $18.00 when new and isn't worth a heck of a lot more than that now according to the Ebay starting bids. Mostly it is just for nostalgia buffs. I suppose there were a lot of them made. They must have been a kind of Model "T" of the camera industry.
The Leica, however is a whole different story. Let's hope that one at least ended up in someones hands that knew what to do with it.
Andre
