Love yo7r way of presenting these pictures. Great capture of the motion of the waves. Somehow, it is both soft and strong at the same time. Great.

The lines here are great!!! - and the light!! The sun is only peeking through a small hole in the sky...and still he light is playing in the wave. I like the action... the power of nature...
I'll leave for my morning shower.. )
Have a great day...hugs...

Merete

Barry Wakelin   {K:7838} 6/7/2005
Superbly timed and great colour. The panoramic format does it full justice and you've cropped it in just the right place. Could this be a new Spracklen signature?

Hakan AKIRMAK   {K:14547} 6/7/2005

I can't taste the salt, Chris. But I can hear the roar of the surf. I love the detail in the surf and sand and the gloomy sky above. Best regards and thanks for your comments, Larry

Keith Naylor   {K:13046} 6/8/2005
We are a fair way from the Sea here in SHeffield, but I could swear I could hear the crash of the waves just then. Only one thing missing - the Spracklen Seagull !!

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 6/8/2005
Superb seascape pano, very beautiful colors. Maybe the sky is a bit too much on the dark side (as compared to the vivid foreground) for my taste, not sure.
Regards;
Carsten

Khaled Mursi Hammoud   {K:52315} 6/8/2005
This proves that one can get wonderful images from just simple subjects and ideas.
I like the texture of the sand and the color tones of the image, very nicely served with ps, bravo my friend,
Khaled.

Stephen Bowden   {K:64516} 6/15/2005
Surf's up !!

I love the lighting and shadows in this Chris. For me this could be a "Decisive Moment" just as the wave breaks ?

Either way, a stunning capture. Sorry for my recent absence, I was "tide" up decorating..... pun intended !

Best wishes,
Steve

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 6/15/2005
I think I'll wave goodbye to that pun, Stephen!! )
Nice to have you back!
Best regards, Chris

Angelo Villaschi   {K:49617} 7/12/2005
Fantastic light and saturation, Chris. I like your simple composition, isolating some simple layers.

With that in mind, I am not sure the two poles to the right actually fit into the image, or whether they spoil the compositional simplicity.

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 7/12/2005
Thanks for your kind comment, Angelo.
You're not going to believe this, but I honestly had never noticed those poles before you pointed them out!!
Kind regards, Chris

Ahmed Ismail   {K:19853} 11/9/2005
What a beautiful capture of the wave breaking. Very nice!!!
