Godly kitsch is a very good subject! Works wonderfully. /H

Csaba Molnár   {K:5812} 6/7/2005
Wherever You change, always created a lot of suggestive images! (for me) :)
Csaba

Omar Rifaat   {K:10132} 6/7/2005
Excellent, jeanette! it seems as if the statue is about to speak... (or maybe sing?)
omar

Yutaka Itinose   {K:21263} 6/7/2005
Oh,you Jeanette you create your original way of the treatment of foreground,so nice capture of renaissanse!

Inser att jag var för kortfattad (en j-a internetsjuka %#*!). Menar att det är ett bra 'Holga'-ämne. För övrigt är färgskalan enormt bra och hon verkar fundera över äpplet (och det gör hon rätt i - det är gott!) /h

ARMANDO ALCÁZAR   {K:42656} 6/7/2005
wonderful pic and effect, congrats and God bless you

Kevin Collier   {K:19076} 6/7/2005
...I like this one - the contrast of the red and green perfectly compliments the gold of the statue - I have to say the blur thru the forground green make me seem somewhat of a voyeur...just peeking...K

Larissa Nazarova   {K:12096} 6/7/2005
Nice color for virgin, she is glowing. Great shot!
My regards, LArissa

question..why are the past few images blurred on the bottom ? are you using a lensbaby or filter ?
looks cool though

Guido Fulgenzi   {K:6076} 6/8/2005

reagards,Guido

Dorothy Di Liddo   {K:13796} 6/8/2005

Todd Miller   {K:16410} 6/8/2005
'Godly kitsch'....hilarious Hansi.

great work again with the holgalike vision jeanette...

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 6/8/2005
Holy kitsch is indeed a good subject for Holgaisms. I prefer not to associate these too strongly with that camera and I find I like them better after removing that constraint. Colors here of course - a real forte of yours.

Onur Özbakan   {K:16760} 6/8/2005
Jeanette, in my lifetime only once i visited a doctor for my eyes, and he told me i was 0.25 degree hard on seeing near (hipermetrop in Turkish :) and one of my friends told me this was ideal for pilots :) his father was a helicopter pilot in air forces.. now i am not sure that my eyes are ideal for being a pilot, thank you very much!!! :)))

se7en :)

Saeed Al Shamsi   {K:47330} 6/8/2005

Angelo Villaschi   {K:49617} 6/8/2005
Nice, Jeanette. The blur filter gives this a much more dreamy impression.

Good lighting and nice "printing".

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59679} 6/8/2005
Hi Bea! I?using a plug-in to PS to create the vignette and blur... Inspired of all you Holga users ;D

Jeanette

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59679} 6/8/2005

Marcus Armani   {K:35759} 6/8/2005
very nice scene, the lighting and effect is perfect. very well done..

Bradley Prue   {K:30285} 6/8/2005
It's all about the "tilt", here. Oh yeah, and the colors.....oh yeah, and the focus/out of focus DOF.....oh yeah, and the lighting......

This image has some very unique qualities that sneak up on you, rather than jump out at you. In other words, your brilliance is impossible to conceal. ..Brad

Orazio Minnella   {K:46437} 6/8/2005

Hi Jeanette,

very cool outcome. I may call this "fake Holga", but this is just your style and there is nothing "faky" about it. great colors!

best wishes,

Thilo

Wonderfull picture Jeanette, the blur effect makes you consentrate on the statue.

m.c. lopez   {K:14899} 6/9/2005
I'm sure she is !

Keith Fitzgerald   {K:1117} 6/9/2005
this picture is amazing, you have a great vision and technique. I love the selective blur, colour and mood. -just left of the head, the leaves in sharp focus are slightly distracting. Great picture, one of my favs.
keith
