Notice to Laurie, must get huasband to buy more flowers! Where's his romance???
Nice shot - reminds me of an old lamshade with the angle of the stem and the flower's shape. Beautifuly lit and composed as always and the soft focus and tming work incredibly well...

Alastair,
Thanks for your kind comments! They are always appreciated. :)

Sadly, my husband has never been good about bringing me flowers so I decided a long time ago that I would take care of it myself!

) Again, beautiful composition! I really like the fact you followed up and composed this image with the failing daisy.

Another ostesibly simple photo, dear Laurie, with deep symbolic meaning. I hope you find wonderful flowers when you go out to buy them.
Thank you for your very kind comment on my "Alone." Your sepia verion emphasizes the feeling of being alone even more and of course I don't mind your adding it.
Best regards,
Rafind

Beautiful! The film grain is very tasteful as well as the overall tones. The composition is also very powerful, helping to breathe one last breath into this dead beauty.
