Superb use of lines to lead the eye around the photo Chris... First the path down to the beach (with an optional diversion along the line of flowers up to the left, rejoining the path to go out to the left background) and then the beach and line of surf o take the eye to the right rear. Very clever and perfect composition!

Just below the bank of flowers there's another little path that you can't see, Antonio.
The little 'fence' is a handrail to give support to older people waking down this (hidden) narrow sloping path.
