Wonderful stuff, I try and shoot everything during the day with the polarizer, the only problem is when I want to do panorama's the graduation of the sky from shot to shot kills me. Great shot, good reflections too.

überaus beeindruckende Kulisse für den Herrscher der Meere...die Wolken vermitteln den Eindruck von hohen Wellentälern...ein Zeichen von Ihm und der Sturm endet...

Hi Taran,

thanks for the feedback. Polarizer and stitchings? Well, this is not the easy part ;-)

best wishes, Thilo

Hey Thilo,

Very nice high contrast shot. Nice blacks where the blue sky was. I don't know how you do it but my technique involves a saved cuve I've called "redFilter" :)

Maybe the only thing is that the statue could use a bit less harsh contrast and some more detail.

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 6/12/2005
Wonderful Details my friend, I like the capture allot, the tones and colors are really nice as well, I am sure Neptune would love to have this photo framed on his bedroom :)

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 6/12/2005
appropriately dramatic sky :-)

taran     {K:1371} 6/12/2005
BTW, how do you like that sigma 18-50 on the D70?... looks very sharp and contrasty to me, if its the lens you used for this picture.

CorrieLynn Jacobsen   {K:9882} 6/14/2005
Really like the heavy contrast in this one. The 'stunts' on the sky are really neat too. Beautiful work. As always.... ;)
