Very very good done :)

Interesting that this is a good example of a color photo, that uses relatively few colors. That water that covers the foreground isn't clear until the eye reaches the reflection inside the rocks above. And you compose so that the background and horizon provide a frame, but not so much to draw the eye from the foreground. Very well done.

wonderful use of the 10-22mm here patrick... also like the use of the polorizer to be able to see the rust color under the shallow water, and how it fades gradually back into a reflection at the waters edge... composition and coloring right on

Very well seen, Pat. Shots like this can make great things out of dull days.

Very nice. Wonderful composition, and a nice mix of cool colors. It looks like you figured out how to handle the digital capture, because this image looks very similar to the ones you shot on film. Congrads!

Roger Williams   {K:82213} 6/15/2005
I see you are still shooting very similar subjects after your move to digital. I know I would find the narrower dynamic range difficult to handle, but you used to use slide film, which has similar limitations, so I guess the move was that much less traumatic... The transparency of the water in the foreground makes this shot very special and the island in the dreamy distance adds to the impact. A wonderful image.

Beautiful work on this one. I'm really impressed!
