About This picture was taken on site at a clients place in mumbai. The simple graphic nature of the staircase was enough to get me going clickkk!! This is the landing between 1st and 2nd floor. Good design S+PS.

Good toning. It would be more dramatic and lively if there is a person, cat walking down the stairs.

I agree with commenter above. Try using some human element in some of your interior photography to add an interest factor/element. It could make some of your photos come out even more compelling than they already do.

Also, as you may have noticed from my other comments, I'm personally not a big fan of blowouts in general, so that is one thing that distracts me in this photo, which otherwise is well-framed.

The reason why these lines (stairs) stand out is because of the burn out in the background caused by the sunlight hitting the walls from the skylight above. Very little could be done to avoid the burnout but all said and done, my intention was to capture the geometry of the stairs - the burnout helped. Thanks for the comment.
