About	Subject background: Some unreal landscape found in Volendam - near Edam, where the famous Edamer is from ;-) This is my alternate vision. PS concept: This time, I decided to work just on the IR layer and not to add some color layer. Hope you like the surreal outcome. Several layers of channel mixer.

This is very good, looks a bit like snow but then there is a bit of a gotcha and it just looks kind of alien. I didn't know you could use the D70 for IR.

I think the main thing is that it is an interesting scene to begin with and you have composed it well. Good choice with the symmetric composition. It reinforces the calm appearance of the place and sets out the interest in the sky, as well as on the tree at the converging lines.

You have out done yourself again! This shot is spectacular! I really like the dark slate colour of the sky, The effects are great.

Interesting for me is the same sort of situation that I had in my post of the window frame recently. The larger tree on the left side seems to enhance the photo rather than ruin the symmetry.

Outstanding Thilo ! Sharp, crisp and fairytale-like.....I guess it?s places like this that created generations of world class Dutch skaters. Only in Holland, Sweden, germany and a couple of other places you'll find perfect rows of houses and trees like this....makes me think of the book "The stepford Wives" by Ira levin.
